Job Title: Perioperative Nursing Specialist
Anesthesia Nurses are critical members of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist Anesthetists in all stages of anesthesia administration, conducting pre-induction checks and close monitoring of patients post-induction.
- Demonstrate competent clinical skills, knowledge, and critical thinking in delivering quality nursing care.
- Implement anesthetic nursing standards and procedures, maintaining quality care.
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations, such as Code Blue and crisis management.
- Handle and dispense drugs responsibly, especially Controlled Drugs.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation in medical systems.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction and address quality and service issues.
- Correctly bill consumables used and procedures performed.
- Contribute to inventory control of medical consumables and equipment maintenance.
Main Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:
- Shift flexibility: 10am-7pm (Monday-Friday) & 10am-3pm (Saturdays).
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced Diploma or post-basic qualifications in Anesthesia Nursing or equivalent.
- Singapore Nursing Board Practicing Certificate for Registered Nurses.
- At least 2-3 years of post-registration clinical experience in OR and/or AU settings.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes.
- Computer literacy.
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support and Automated External Defibrillator Certification.
