About the role Atlas Eye Specialist Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team in the Central Region. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support within our specialist eye centre. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and caring environment, making a direct impact on the wellbeing of our patients. What you'll be doing Assisting ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals in the delivery of patient care Conducting patient assessments, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress Providing compassionate and personalised care to patients, addressing their needs and concerns Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with medical protocols Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimise patient care Participating in continuous learning and professional development opportunities Adhering to all health and safety regulations, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment What we're looking for Registered Nurse with a valid practicing certificate Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably within the healthcare or medical specialty sector Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centric approach Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices What we offer At Atlas Eye Specialist Centre, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and fulfilling work environment for our employees.
