Position Overview If you enjoy a challenging role that offers opportunities to learn and grow, we invite you to join us as a Purchasing Assistant. This position plays a vital role in supporting our procurement team, assisting in sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining supplies, materials, and equipment needed for daily operations. You will gain hands-on experience in supplier management, negotiation, and cross-department coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, good communication abilities, and a willingness to learn. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the procurement of goods and services based on company requirements. • Create and process purchase orders (POs) in the system. • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate terms. • Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery. • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and documentation. • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure purchasing needs are met. • Check and verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes. • Support the Purchasing/Procurement Manager with administrative and operational tasks. • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management when required. • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. • No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome. • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Good communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines. • Team player with a positive attitude. • Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers. • Singaporean citizens or Permanent Residents only.
