Quantity Survey Manager
heads and manages a team of Quantity Surveyors and ensures contract compliance with the company’s policies and procedures. Subcontractor agreements awarded are within budget, according to specifications and adhering to delivery terms. He/She develops and implements a strategy to ensure the function operates in line with business objectives to add value, mitigate supply chain risk and deliver cost savings, and works alongside the senior management team to contribute to overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategy to ensure the function operates in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk and deliver cost savings.
Negotiate and manage downstream contracts and services in accordance with company policies, responding to contract negotiation, bids, and proposals.
Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors to ensure KPIs are met.
Provide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained to achieve operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles.
Manage contracts and frameworks (ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the contract, and monitor and manage the performance of the supplier to the contract, escalating issues where required).
Oversee QS activities and ensure all sub-contractor/vendor
