Roles & Responsibilities Job Description We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Food Technologist Interns to join our team The internship offers hands-on experience in food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced food production environment. Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do): Assist in ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Support in conducting physico-chemical tests, sensory evaluations, and microbiological analyses of food products. Help provide training on GMP, food hygiene, and food safety to production staff. Assist in shelf-life testing and quality monitoring of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Help maintain laboratory cleanliness and orderliness. Support in arranging external calibration and ordering lab consumables and equipment. Participate in factory inspections and internal audits. Coordinate with external pest control service providers. Provide support during external food safety audits. Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the QA/Management team. Job Requirements (What We Are Looking For): Pursuing tertiary education in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field. Strong interest in food quality and safety standards (ISO, SFA, Halal, etc.). Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ____________________________________________________________________________ Learning Opportunities (What You Will Learn): Understand how food safety and quality systems (ISO, SFA, Halal, GMP) are applied in real-world production. Gain hands-on experience in lab testing, sensory evaluation, and microbiological analysis. Learn how to conduct shelf-life studies and monitor raw materials, packaging, and finished products. Be exposed to factory inspections, pest control programs, and internal audits. Develop skills in audit preparation, compliance documentation, and regulatory standards. Work with experienced QA professionals to understand continuous improvement in food safety and workplace safety.
