We are seeking a Product Controller mainly in charge of overseeing the financial reporting, valuation, and P&L attribution of financial products traded by the firm, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products. The role requires a deep understanding of financial market products and a solid grasp of accounting principles to ensure the accuracy of the firm’s trading books and records. Daily P&L and Valuation: Prepare and analyze daily profit and loss (P&L) reports for trading desks. Reconcile front-office reported P&L with back-office records and accounting systems. Perform daily checks on valuation and booking consistency across systems. Investigate and resolve P&L discrepancies and valuation breaks. Product and Trade Analysis: Develop a detailed understanding of the products traded, including structured notes, options, swaps, bonds, equities, FX, and commodities. Monitor new product implementations and assess their financial impact. Validate trade bookings and lifecycle events (e.g., settlements, coupons, corporate actions). Financial Reporting and Controls: Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes. Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and regulatory standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP). Collaborate with external and internal auditors during audits. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to support business activities.
