As a Production Controller, you will need to demonstrate leadership skills in managing projects and people. The individual needs to plan, coordinate and control the flow of materials from manufacturing floor and suppliers according to the production schedules. Ensure quarterly build plan commitment are met and the orders are executed on time to meet customer due dates.
You will also be responsible for:
- Taking lead and coordinate with other departments regarding project goals, production and timeline.
- Hosting production meeting to monitor the order status with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and Commercial teams.
- Controlling the production build plan and review and approve sales order prior to releasing to Manufacturing. Ensure Sales Order changes and Variation Order (VO) are incorporated into operation activities. Setting and maintaining Manufacturing Due Date (MDD) in system.
- Ensuring operational alignment with production plan and KPIs, such as Overdue Backlog, Ontime delivery and Inventory
- Leading the planners and buyers to manage shop workload challenges, material pull in/push out, schedule changes and supplier delay.
- Defining Bill of Material (BOM) releases with Engineering and Make/Buy strategy with the Commercial and Manufacturing teams.
- Conducting regular quality review and ensure material/production compliance to Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Special Quality Requirement (SQR).
- Liaising with Master Scheduler to stay abreast on the production prioritization and slots changes.
- Ensuring that the master schedule and production schedule are synchronized.
- Coordinating plant prioritization of activities to achieve delivery of regional revenue.
- Maintaining and developing work instructions and SOP. Participate in API or ISO audits.
- Taking part in pre-bid meetings to advise the Make/Buy strategy and delivery schedules.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Have degree in Engineering or Supply Chain or related field with at least 5 years of equivalent experience.
- Have experience in order management, material planning, inventory optimization and supply chain management
- Have good understanding of Oracle and MRP functionality
- Have green Belt Certification
- Have APICS Certification
- Have Positive attitude
- Have strong leadership and analytical skills
- Be a good team player and pro-active individual with high say-do ratio
- Have good communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written
- Have good proficiency in Oracle, Tableau and MS Office. Strong in using MS Excel for data analysis
- Be able to work with and influence stakeholders

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
