Dow delivered sales of approximately $43 .**About you and this role**This TS&D Technician role will provide lab testing support for Dow Performance Products for various markets with primary focus on Industrial and Chemical processing (I&CP) and Personal Care and help Technical Support and Development Experts in application development studies for new products.**Responsibilities*** Support TS&D professionals to collect and analyze lab experimental data in a safe and timely manner.* Conduct sample/ formulation preparations (weighing, mixing chemicals, cleaning) for various applications in I&CP (antifoam, resins, fluids, etc.) and Personal Care (Haie care such as Shampoos, Hair gels, conditioners etc. and Skin care such as BB cream, color cosmetics, sunscreen). Carry out application testing with minimum supervision using assigned equipment, and create test reports by summarizing data* Operate I&CP and Personal Care lab related equipment (such as High-Speed mixers, analytical equipment, Physical testing equipment, aging chambers etc.)
Document results with accurate records and Dow documentation processes.* Order product samples, keep record of customer samples and help TS&Ds for packaging of outgoing sample and arrange shipments.* Lab management: Responsible for maintaining lab for I&CP and Personal care. Carry out tasks such as ensuring 5S laboratory cleanliness, ensuring compliance to chemical storage / handling / waste disposal, create PO/PR for lab supplies, maintaining inventories of consumable materials, chemicals, and supplies. Arrange calibrations and preventive maintenance of instruments, create SOP when required, ensure lab equipment for optimal performance and safety.* Actively participate in work group team meetings to address safety, process improvement, problem solving, and other functional topics.* participate in routine safety check and lab auditing.**Qualifications*** At least Diploma in Chemistry or applied chemistry or Material Science or chemical Engineering or any other related discipline* At least 2 years of relevant working experience in chemical Lab environment desired (Dow will provide on-job training)* Good command of English (both spoken and written)* Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Words, Excel, Presentation, Outlook).* Experience of working in coating or Personal care Industry and past experience of handling related equipment will be advantageous* Knowledge of SAP would be added advantage**Your** **Skills*** High safety ethics* Prioritization skills* Able to work independently with self-motivation* Open to routine / repetitive laboratory testing work task* Good planning, time management, execution of work**Additional Notes:*** This role is based in Singapore, no international relocation support will be provided.**Benefits – What Dow offers you**We invest in you.
