Job Title: Senior Silicon Design Engineer Synthesize, implement and maintain complex digital integrated circuits using cutting-edge methodologies.

About the Role:

This position focuses on planning, building and executing physical design of new and existing features for high-performance applications.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for modern digital design aspects, excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to synthesize, implement Design-For-Test (DFT) and close timing on complex digital integrated circuits.

  • Work with various design groups across different disciplines to meet timing closure, area, power and performance requirements.
  • Design, implement and maintain synthesis, DFT and Static Timing Analysis scripts using best-in-class methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Silicon Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing log and report files to ensure tools are getting required results and making adjustments to scripts to get required results within scheduled milestones.
  • Communicating regularly with project teams worldwide to resolve issues and ensure meeting targeted goals and schedule.
  • Providing/proposing new/enhance synthesis, DFT and STA flow and methodology to reduce development TAT to meet product requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in IP level ASIC physical design including hierarchical implementation.
  • Proficiency in using physical design RTL2GDS EDA tools and working in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience with Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++.
  • Automating workflows in a distributed compute environment.
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience in timing constraints development.
  • Scripting language experience: Perl, TCL, Makefile, shell preferred.
