Conduct desktop risk evaluations and request additional details from cedants or brokers where clarification is required. Determine terms, conditions, and premiums that align with the company’s profitability goals and overall risk appetite. Monitor the marine portfolio, identify trends, and recommend adjustments to improve results and maintain alignment with strategic objectives. Administer marine underwriting activities, including endorsements, system registration, and reporting to ensure accurate records and smooth operations. Provide guidance on claims-related matters and support the resolution process as required. Research market trends in the reinsurance sector and contribute insights for business planning and strategic initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to pursue business opportunities and meet company targets. Participate in the identification of new business opportunities and maintain relationships with brokers and cedants to grow facultative reinsurance business. Requirements Worked in the insurance/reinsurance industry for more than 5 years as Underwriter with regional responsibilities and good knowledge of markets. Underwriting experience and market knowledge of Treaty Business is an advantage. ACII/FCII or equivalent would be an advantage.
