Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and execute controls testing and compliance assurance reviews to assess company systems, controls, and processes against regulatory, financial crime, and conduct risks.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to track and advise on management action plans to resolve issues identified during reviews.
  3. Review and challenge management action plans related to regulatory, financial crime, and conduct risks.
  4. Escalate key issues with practical suggestions for resolution.
  5. Prepare management reports highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  6. Manage regulatory relationships through value-added compliance assurance reviews.
  7. Coordinate with Risk and Audit functions to improve review efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Pilot new testing methods using data analytics/AI to enhance coverage and rigor.

Experience

  1. At least 8-10 years of compliance or regulatory experience.
  2. Experience in planning, executing, and reporting compliance testing and assurance reviews.
  3. Strong knowledge of regulations and ability to quickly understand internal policies.
  4. Accountability, ownership, initiative, and ability to work with limited supervision.
  5. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with senior management.
  7. Team player with a positive mindset and innovative thinking.
  8. Audit experience is an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, or equivalent.
