Principal Advanced Support Engineer (Oracle DBA)Join to apply for the Principal Advanced Support Engineer (Oracle DBA)role at Oracle . As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post‐sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. You will resolve post‐sales inquiries via phone and electronic means, handle technical support issues, and serve as the primary point of contact for customers. You will provide assistance to internal Oracle employees on complex customer situations and escalated issues, acting as an expert team member in troubleshooting critical problems with a high degree of autonomy. Responsibilities At least 10 plus years of experience with Oracle Database as a DBA/Consultant/Support Engineer Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM Strong DBA skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Database 11g to 19c and 23Ai Oracle GoldenGate skills are highly desired Experience implementing high availability features of Oracle Database Experience with Engineered systems such as Exadata is required Sharp technical troubleshooting skills A good understanding of support processes Ability to manage escalated technical situations & develop action plans Ability to spot proactive services that benefit customers Ability to facilitate issues with Development and Support Strong analytical skills and independent worker Oracle OCP DBA certifications Some travel may be required for training or customer visit Singaporean with security clearances Qualifications Career Level - IC4Both a Bachelor*s and Master*s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience; 8 years related experience prior to taking this position. Experience with Oracle*s core products, applications, and tools. Oracle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
