Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Food & Beverage (F&B) Outlet Supervisor to oversee operations and manage a team at our stall. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fast-paced nature of hawker centre operations, with a focus on ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. The F&B Outlet Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the stall, including staff training, inventory control, sales performance, and upkeep of standards. Key Responsibilities Team Management and Training Supervise and lead a team of staff members, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a high level of customer service. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure all staff are knowledgeable about menu offerings, service standards, health & safety protocols, and customer service. Foster a positive and motivated work environment to encourage teamwork and enhance employee performance. Sales and Performance Targets Set, track, and drive sales targets to ensure the stall meets or exceeds business goals. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve sales, including upselling techniques, promotions, and optimizing product offerings. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for review, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth. Inventory Management Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock levels are sufficient, and supplies are replenished in a timely manner. Perform regular stock audits and manage inventory records to prevent discrepancies. Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, monitor stock delivery, and maintain cost-effective purchasing practices. Settlement Reporting Prepare accurate settlement reports at the end of each shift/day, ensuring proper documentation of all sales, cash handling, and transaction discrepancies. Ensure adherence to financial protocols, including cash reconciliation, petty cash management, and reporting any financial discrepancies to the appropriate authorities. Quality Control and Standard Upkeep Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the stall, in line with health and safety regulations. Monitor food quality and ensure proper preparation, presentation, and consistency according to the stall’s standard. Perform routine inspections and audits to maintain service, cleanliness, and food safety standards. Customer Service Excellence Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and to customer satisfaction. Create and maintain a friendly and welcoming environment for customers, fostering loyalty and positive reviews. Operational Efficiency Optimize workflow and operations to ensure maximum efficiency during peak hours. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, including equipment failures, staffing challenges, and supply shortages. Qualifications and Skills Experience : Minimum of 3 years in F&B management, preferably in a hawker centre or fast-casual environment. Leadership : Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Sales-Oriented : Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. Inventory Management : Experience with stock management, purchasing, and cost control. Excellent Communication : Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff. Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all tasks, from food preparation to customer service, meet the highest standards. Problem-Solving : Ability to resolve operational issues swiftly and efficiently while maintaining service quality.
