Job Title: Contract Management Specialist Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of contract management, including negotiation, execution, and administration. This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Key responsibilities include preparing documentation for tender submissions, developing tender strategies, and overseeing tender estimation responsibilities. The successful candidate will also coordinate with various stakeholders to provide accurate analysis of participated projects and prepare final submission documentation.
Additionally, the Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and improving departmental workflow and productivity. This involves liaising with main contractors, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers/vendors to resolve project claims and cost issues.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop standards for contracts, review the contractual performance of all parties, and periodically report work progress to senior management. You will also attend tender briefings and site show rounds to gain a better understanding of client requirements and potential competitors.
Upon award, you will initiate transition kick-off and ensure proper handover to the project team. Throughout the contract term, you will support the project team in ensuring full compliance with the contract and respective legislation and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Degree in Construction Management/Building /Quantity Surveying
- Tender experience is considered an asset
- Minimum 5-years of relevant working experience in the Construction industry
- Meticulous and systematic individual with positive working attitude
- Good oral & written communication skills
- Multi-tasking and stress-handling abilities
