Job Description
What is the opportunity?
As the FX Advisor & Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for the advisory and execution of FX product trades for internal and external clients.
What will you do?
Execution of trades on FX products with precision and minimal errors. FX products include spot, forward, swap, DCI, option, structures and will also involve precious metals.
Role requires London shift coverage on a rotational basis.
Execute and manage FI trades and orders.
Execute and manage Equity trades and orders.
Able to structure, recommend, price and execute FX strategies to match various client needs.
Providing FX advisory to Relationship Managers (RM) and DAC clients.
Preparing daily commentaries and trade ideas for RMs and clients.
Managing client margin calls and margin cuts. And help provide trade ideas that help clients manage their FX risk.
To participate in idea generations and presentations in the weekly investment meetings for RMs and monthly asset class group meetings for the investment team.
Troubleshoot issues stemming from front to back processes and execution.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Degree or equivalent is required.
The role would typically require 7-9 years of experience in FX sales or FX advisory related position.
Good spoken and written English is a must
This role requires speaking to North Asia-based clients, proficiency in Mandarin is essential.
Strong attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills and effective customer relationship management skills.
Good presentation skills.
Able to multitask and proactively manage deadlines, working within a dynamic and fast pace team set up.
Strong analytical and organisational capabilities.
Demonstrate his/her ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exhibit ability to cope under high stress environment (e.g. during a market turmoil).
Computer literate with excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
Nice-to-have
This role requires speaking to North Asia-based clients, proficiency in Cantonese is nice-to-have.
