Job Title: FX Product Manager

Job Description:

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the private banking FX product and advisory platform. As the owner of the FX P&L, you will play a crucial part in ensuring strong control, compliance, and operational efficiency across the platform.

You will lead FX-related projects, coordinate with internal teams, and drive investment themes to provide clear market direction to frontline teams. Additionally, you will handle client FX requests with tailored solutions, train and support Client Advisors on FX knowledge, and act as the in-house FX expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Trade Ideas: Utilize research, market feedback, and existing positions to deliver trade ideas that meet client needs.
  • Drive Investment Themes: Develop and communicate clear market direction to frontline teams, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Client FX Requests: Provide tailored solutions to meet client FX requirements, while maintaining strong relationships.
  • FX Expertise: Train and support Client Advisors on FX knowledge, ensuring they have the necessary skills to provide excellent client service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Knowledge of FX Markets: A deep understanding of FX markets and analysis, including trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • FX Sales and Advisory Experience: Proven experience in FX sales, advisory, and platform management, with a focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes.
  • Product Lifecycle Understanding: A full understanding of the product lifecycle, including development, launch, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Financial Markets: Familiarity with financial markets, portfolio construction, and risk management principles.
  • Project Management Skills: Some experience in project management and systems/process handling, with the ability to lead complex projects end-to-end.
  • Structured Products Knowledge: Exposure to Structured Products is a plus, with a strong understanding of their characteristics and applications.
  • Legal and Regulatory Awareness: A good understanding of legal and regulatory matters, with the ability to ensure compliance across all aspects of the role.
  • Linguistic Skills: Fluency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • CACS Certification: CACS certification is highly valued, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and best practices.
