Research Nurse Coordinator
As a Research Nurse Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients participating in clinical research studies.
The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and provide nursing care to patients who are part of research studies. This includes developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
Additionally, the Research Nurse Coordinator must enforce standards of care and professional codes of conduct, ensuring that all activities align with the highest ethical and regulatory standards. This involves staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations governing clinical trials and adhering to established protocols and procedures.
To ensure the safety and well-being of study subjects, the Research Nurse Coordinator must be vigilant in identifying potential risks and take proactive steps to mitigate them. This includes collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
Another critical aspect of this role is preparing research metrics and reports for submission. The Research Nurse Coordinator must be skilled in data analysis and interpretation, as well as proficient in using various software applications to prepare and submit reports.
In terms of qualifications, candidates for this position should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, along with a valid BCLS certificate and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). At least 5 years' experience in Clinical Trial nursing is also highly desirable.
