Business Planning & Analysis (BPA) Manager

(21-month fixed-term contract)

Job Description:

Join a leading pharmaceutical multinational as a BPA Manager supporting the Singapore business. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial insights, enabling data-driven decision-making, and partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance.

Role Overview:

The BPA Manager will serve as a strategic finance partner within the country organization, delivering high-impact analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The role supports senior management with actionable insights and contributes to long-term planning and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and relevant business analysis to support reviews, planning cycles, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Monitor business performance and provide early warnings to enable timely resource reallocation.
  • Lead budgeting and financial planning activities, including periodic revisions and scenario modeling.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing and reporting processes.
  • Support decision-making with data-driven insights and recommendations for stakeholders across functions.
  • Enhance business case proposals and profitability tracking through robust financial analysis.
  • Evaluate risks and opportunities and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously improve and streamline management reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to align financial strategies and reporting standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A or BPA roles, in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural team environments.
  • Solid understanding of financial compliance and internal controls
