Job Description Senior Director of Corporate Strategy – Asia Pacific (AP) located in Singapore. Team Summary Visa's Asia Pacific Corporate Strategy team plays a key role in shaping Visa's long‐term strategy in the region and solving for regional and country‐specific opportunities and challenges. Working closely with executives and business leaders across Visa, the team develops market and product strategy, multi‐year planning, and growth opportunities, and produces thought leadership on emerging trends in the payments industry. Responsibilities As a member of the AP Corporate Strategy team, the Senior Director will develop regional and market‐specific strategy efforts. The role supports key business areas across functions and geographies by conducting analysis that underpins strategy development aligned with regional and global priorities. Responsibilities include: Lead and coordinate strategy projects independently or with a small team of analysts, including hypothesis development, data validation, and recommendation formation. Support regional business planning, monitor competitive developments across the region and globally, and respond timely to emerging trends and opportunities in AP. Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, building and presenting actionable insights to the AP Regional President, leadership team, and other senior leaders. Develop country‐specific strategies as well as multi‐year plans for the region, address regulatory changes, create go‐to‐market plans for new solutions, and assess strategic investment opportunities. Qualifications What you will need for this role: a structured mindset, curiosity about the payments industry, results‐driven, and client focused. 15+ years of experience leading strategy projects at top‐tier Management Consulting firms or in a Corporate Strategy group in a multinational environment. Pro‐active and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to all levels and facilitating group discussions and debate. Ability to lead cross‐functional teams and proven project management experience. Strong interpersonal, execution, analytical, and strategic acumen. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Able to manage work across different time zones effectively. Recognized as a thought leader and capable of influencing the organization to make strategy happen. Professional, confident, and outgoing, maintaining communication with a wide internal and external audience. Team player with a strong drive to add value to business direction. Highly numerate, detail oriented, and skilled in structuring and analyzing databases; strong knowledge of financial modelling, scenario‐building, and analysis.
