We welcome you to join our team of highly motivated and dynamic interpreters as: INTERPRETER, LANGUAGE RESOURCES. Responsibilities Render accurate and professional interpretation in courts, chambers, registries, mediation/ counselling sessions from English to Tamil and vice versa. Provide accurate and professional translation of court/court-related documents from English to Tamil and vice versa. Review/refine current work processes and procedures. Multi-task and perform other duties in the administration of justice. Qualifications / Requirements Excellent command of both the English and Tamil languages. Relevant work experience and/or qualifications in interpretation and/or translation would be an advantage. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Able to remain calm under pressure and quick to react to unexpected situations. Possess a positive attitude and service-oriented mindset. Possess the stamina and ability to concentrate for a prolonged period. Able to work both independently and as a team. Note: All candidates are required to sit for a pre-selection test. The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year probationary contract in the first instance.
