Production Engineering Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits to enhance equipment performance and drive continuous improvement.
You will oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, maintaining current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective maintenance schedules and procedures
- Collaborating with process owners to develop, prioritize, and manage projects to reduce defects and improve availability
- Serving as liaison between facilities, vendor representatives, and shift personnel
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or materials engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning.
A good understanding of cleanroom wafer fab operations is desirable, as is relevant internship experience or prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
This role requires outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills to motivate team members from multiple sites and different backgrounds.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and basic coding skills is also beneficial.
