This is a pivotal role offering complete ownership of the entity's full accounting function, reporting directly to the General Manager. The successful candidate will be a senior finance professional capable of independently managing the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes with precision and initiative.

Our client is a well-established subsidiary of a leading global industrial group. Operating as a strategic regional hub based in Singapore, the company plays a crucial role in supporting its parent group's global financial operations, including treasury management, financial reporting, and compliance.
Description
Manage the entire accounting cycle of the Singapore entity, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare and review monthly and annual closings, financial statements, and consolidation data
Collaborate closely with global finance teams, to support group reporting, consolidation activities, and ensure alignment with international accounting standards and expectations
Prepare and support GST filings; coordinate with tax agents for corporate tax matters
Maintain, write, and update accounting procedures and internal control documentation
Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication and expert insights
Use advanced Excel skills daily to analyze financial data and support reporting activities
Profile
Degree in Accounting, or equivalent and/or professional qualification such as CA/CPA
8 years of accounting experience, with proven ability to handle senior-level responsibilities independently
Deep technical knowledge of accounting principles, reporting standards, and tax compliance
Strong communication skills with ability to liaise confidently with international teams and external advisors
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering quality work
