Youth Support Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our residential services, you will be responsible for providing close supervision and support to residents, ensuring their well-being is taken care of during day-to-day interactions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be proactive in enhancing the services provided to residents, demonstrating emotional maturity and a genuine passion for working with young people.
Your role will involve:
- Providing close supervision and accountability of residents;
- Maintaining the discipline of residents in accordance with the daily programme;
- Motivating and engaging residents to participate in activities and programmes;
- Monitoring the health and well-being of residents;
- Carrying out administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records and reports;
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of O level/Nitec/Diploma qualifications;
- The ability to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays;
- Excellent written and communication skills;
- Demonstrated emotional maturity and a genuine passion for working with young people;
- The ability to display proactivity in group discussions and enhance the services provided to residents.
