This includes various personal authentication protocols, data sharing tools, and corporate identity systems through Corppass. The team's mission is to provide reliable digital identity infrastructure that streamlines transactions, enables businesses, and protects against fraud. What you will be working on: Consult with the Singpass Resiliency team on strategic priorities Build cloud agnostic, scalable platform solutions for aforementioned priorities Develop shared service platforms while handling BAU and on-call pager duties Help Singpass secure its infrastructure and accelerate developer velocity Adhere to compliance guidelines Your day to day role will involve: Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions Developing and maintaining shared service platforms Running platform BAU operations Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather specifications and user feedback Optimising manpower and infrastructure costs across teams Unshackling product engineering developers to focus on full-stack development What we are looking for: We are looking for candidates that meet the following criteria: At least senior-level experience in software engineering Still heavily involved in software development in the capacity of an Individual Contributor Experience in developing shared service platforms and infrastructure solutions Strong background in running PaaS products, Infrastructure Operations, or SRE Hands-on experience with implementation and day 2 operations Ability to work with legacy and open source code bases to fork and patch problems Have demonstrated ability to build and maintain platform systems Possess T-shaped capabilities with broad experience across multiple fields, and deep expertise in a single field Can effectively communicate and collaborate across teams Methodical in change management and diligent in documentation Have a strong desire to optimise and improve infrastructure and processes Willing to take on BAU operations and on-call duties Technical skills we're looking for include: Proficiency in Kubernetes, Pulumi, AWS, Golang, TypeScript, and Python Experience with cloud-native and cloud-agnostic implementations Familiarity with developing and maintaining shared service platforms Qualifications: Experience is valued over certifications Candidates will be assessed on the breadth and depth of their implementation experience GovTech is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse voices and perspectives, as we believe that diversity is the foundation to innovation.
