About the Role:

The Junior Financial Analyst/Trader is responsible for conducting financial and market research, assisting in portfolio construction, and executing trades under the guidance of senior professionals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial and market research across asset classes, including stocks, bonds, and commodities.
  • Assist in portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and reporting, ensuring that all investment decisions align with the company's overall strategy.
  • Prepare investment memos, risk analysis, and performance summaries to inform investment decisions.
  • Maintain and update market models, dashboards, and investment tools to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends and provide insights to the investment team, identifying potential opportunities and risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and industry-standard software, such as Bloomberg.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
