We are looking for a capable and motivated
Desktop Support Engineer
to coordinate support activities ranging from basic troubleshooting to complex systems support. This role involves
onsite/on-call assistance
to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment, ensuring
timely and accurate service delivery .
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot computer OS and peripheral issues
Provide support for Windows 7/8/10 environments
Perform hardware/software installation using deployment tools like
SCCM
Support printer and mobile device issues
Install and troubleshoot
Microsoft Office tools
Work with SOE, group policies, Active Directory, Exchange, and Apple OS
Deliver field support for a variety of technologies
Manage time and priorities efficiently, especially in high-pressure situations
Technical Skills Required
Strong troubleshooting skills (Windows, Apple, virtual environments)
Knowledge of:
MS Office applications
PC/Laptop hardware and peripherals
SCCM (basic knowledge)
Active Directory and Exchange (basic knowledge)
Apple OS (basic knowledge)
Personal Attributes
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative
Professional and calm under pressure
Discreet and capable of handling confidential information
Passionate about quality and continuous improvement
Experience
Minimum 2 years
of experience in a similar desktop support or end-user support role.
