Director, Project Assurance Manager at Mizuho

Responsibilities
  • Lead in overseeing and managing project monitoring, reviews and assurance for the region.
  • Review, appraise and monitor project performance for both Regional and Country managed projects. Project appraisal will encompass assessment of benefits and necessity, technical feasibility and commercial viability.
  • Project monitoring incorporates the timely review of project performance against stakeholder expectations for time, scope and budget.
  • Play a leading role in the development of project and change management processes, activities and methods for the region.
Qualifications
  • 10 years of project management experience in IT projects in Financial Services industry
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, project management, and etc.
  • Proven experience in project management in a leadership role, preferably in a financial service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Ideally the candidate will hold a current Project Management Institute certification or equivalent or be in the process of obtaining this certification.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, and communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
