Base pay range$45.00/hr – $55.00/hr Position DetailsTitle: Public Policy and Language Specialist Type: Contract Location: Taiwan Duration: 2 months Commitment: 20+ hours per week Role Responsibilities Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex policy frameworks into clear, structured rubrics for AI training. Write fluently in both Traditional Chinese and English, ensuring accurate terminology and nuanced expression across languages. Provide cultural and policy insights unique to the Taiwanese public. Work closely with reviewers and peers to refine content. Contribute to a structured project environment with clear goals and tools. QualificationsMust-Have Native-level fluency in Mandarin with strong written and spoken English. Degree in policy, political science, sociology, or a similar field. 2–6+ years of experience in politics, public policy, think tanks, or related areas. Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills. Experience in policy writing, instructional design, or academic publishing. Preferred Experience with grading, instructional design, or rubric development. Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts.
