Organization: Mercor Position: Bilingual Simplified Chinese Finance Expert Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $55–$70/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex financial concepts into structured rubrics and documentation for AI training. Write fluently in both Simplified Chinese and English, ensuring precise financial terminology and nuanced expression. Provide domain-specific insights about Chinese markets, regulations, and business practices to enhance contextual and linguistic accuracy. Collaborate with reviewers and peers to validate accuracy, refine content, and ensure alignment with financial industry standards. Contribute to the development of AI systems capable of understanding real-world finance workflows. Requirements Native-level fluency in Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) with strong English proficiency. Advanced academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration. Strong experience in finance, banking, consulting, or investment-related sectors. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. Experience with instructional design, grading, or rubric development is a plus. Familiarity with generative AI or machine learning concepts is beneficial but not required.
