Job Description
Business Excellence plays a pivotal role in shaping the operations strategy to achieve zero touch operations and deliver an empowering connected customer experience (CX) enabled by integrated digital processing and mobile capabilities.
We are seeking a customer-centric professional with strong business process and project management skills to join our Business Excellence team as a Senior Executive, Business Process Engineer. The ideal candidate must be self-directed, motivated, and possess strong analytical, process management, and coordination skills to handle multiple complex tasks across cross-functional areas.
Key Responsibilities include:
Create and develop ideal customer and user flow diagrams and wireframes outlining the optimal journey maps.
Collaborate with departments (SME, IT, etc.) to ensure user journey designs align with technical capabilities and business objectives.
Analyze and document current ('As-Is') business processes, identify areas for optimization, and design improved ('To-Be') processes with automated solutions.
Identify experience gaps to develop insights into customer needs and behaviors.
Engage and update stakeholders on improved processes and solutions.
Build business cases with clear cost-benefit analysis to secure project funding.
Implement strategies to enhance end-to-end customer experiences, increase operational efficiency, and reduce process variation.
Devise performance metrics to measure business outcomes and provide data-driven insights.
Lead and chair project working committees.
Plan and monitor project progress.
Develop Project Charter and Business Case collaboratively with business and project leads.
Prepare and own the Project Management Plan.
Manage project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
Escalate critical issues related to resourcing, deliverables, vendor or team commitments to the Project Sponsor or Steering Committee.
Take responsibility for overall project progress and resource utilization, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
Report to stakeholders, including the Project Sponsor and Steering Committee.
Coordinate with the Steering Committee to ensure project alignment and integrity.
Validate that the return on investment (ROI) is achieved post-implementation.
Ensure adherence to project governance requirements.
Qualifications:
Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or Information Technology.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Insurance or Finance sectors.
At least 2 years of in-depth project and process management experience.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate customer experience across multiple channels.
Excellent problem-solving, innovation, and process improvement skills.
Solid project management and facilitation skills, capable of managing multiple projects.
Effective communication skills for stakeholder and sponsor management.
Proven track record in project delivery and transformational initiatives.
Good understanding of insurance business, IT solutions, or banking industry.
Certifications such as PMP, CITMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are advantageous.
Other competencies and traits:
Experience in implementing change within large, cross-functional organizations.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments to define customer end-states.
Problem-solving skills with a multi-perspective approach, challenging norms for better solutions.
Experience within a seamless digital ecosystem across channels.
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
