The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist position is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team and contribute to the strategic decision-making process. As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in providing financial insights, forecasting, and reporting to enhance business performance and operational efficiency. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in supporting various financial aspects of our entertainment industry-focused organization.Your responsibilities will include collaborating in the development of annual budgets, long-range financial plans, and quarterly forecasts for streaming, theatrical releases, and content production. You will analyze revenue trends, content performance, and subscriber metrics to offer valuable insights to the leadership team. Building and maintaining financial models for content investments, licensing agreements, and theatrical releases will be an essential part of your role. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for streaming and theatrical businesses, identifying variances, and exploring growth opportunities will also be a key focus.In addition, you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Content, Marketing, Distribution, and Production to align financial planning with overall business strategies. Your responsibilities will also involve preparing financial presentations and reports for senior executives, conducting ROI and profitability analysis for various deals, and supporting month-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CPA certification would be advantageous. A minimum of 2 years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or business analysis within the media, entertainment, or streaming industry is required. Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel is essential, while experience with financial planning software like Adaptive Insights or Anaplan is preferred. You should possess a strong understanding of industry-specific financial metrics and excellent analytical skills to derive meaningful insights from complex data.Furthermore, strong communication skills are essential as you will be required to present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs in the entertainment industry will be critical. A passion for streaming, theatrical, and content-driven businesses is highly desirable.Experience with NetSuite, advanced Excel modeling skills, a strong understanding of US GAAP or IFRS, and previous experience with a US-based company are all advantageous. The role may require working hours within the Eastern Time Zone and occasionally later, depending on project deliverables.,
