Job Title: Programme Manager

Description

This is a challenging and rewarding leadership role that will see you manage a team of social service professionals to deliver high-quality services to vulnerable children and families. You will be responsible for leading the team in casework management, intervention planning and service delivery, as well as providing strategic direction for the programme.

You will need to have a proven track record of success in managing teams and programmes, as well as excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Strong people management and team leadership skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet programme needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for the programme, ensuring programme objectives are aligned with organisational mission and strategic priorities.
  • Lead the team in casework management and delivering holistic mentoring and educational intervention plans.
  • Manage complex casework and conduct home visits with the team, as needed.
  • Ensure service standards are maintained through programme supervision and operational framework.
  • Develop and build stakeholder relationships in the throughcare sector.
  • Spearhead new partnerships to support service delivery, including engagement with volunteers, corporate partners, donors and community partners.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work (or other relevant degrees) with proven track record and experience in the social service sector.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in social work, with at least 5 years in supervisory/management capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to multitask across a variety of tasks, projects and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards governing social work practice.
