Description IT Operations Lead (Cloud Experience)
The IT Operations Lead (Cloud Experience) oversees the daily operations of the IT department, focusing on cloud infrastructure and services. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, coordinating with other departments, and implementing best practices to enhance system performance, reliability, and security in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the IT operations team, providing guidance, training, and support.
Oversee the maintenance and administration of cloud infrastructure, including cloud servers, networks, and applications.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud-based IT systems and services.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices for cloud operations.
Monitor cloud system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with other departments to understand their cloud IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Manage cloud IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT operations, with at least 7 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, systems, and applications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with cloud IT project management and implementation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
