This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and a dynamic team on a broad spectrum of corporate matters, with exposure to a wide range of clients – from startups and SMEs to multinational companies. Key Responsibilities: Advising on and drafting corporate and commercial contracts, including shareholder agreements, investment agreements, joint venture arrangements, and sale and purchase agreements. Supporting corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and fundraising exercises. Advising clients on regulatory and compliance matters under Singapore law, including those involving the Companies Act, Employment Act, and other applicable legislation. Conducting legal due diligence and preparing reports for corporate transactions. Liaising with clients, regulators, and counterparties in the course of transactional and advisory work. Requirements: Singapore-qualified lawyer with 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial work. Strong legal drafting and analytical skills. Meticulous, commercially minded, and able to manage matters independently with appropriate supervision. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (written and oral). Able to manage multiple matters and priorities effectively, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. A good team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Desirable (but not essential): Exposure to work involving Variable Capital Companies (VCC), Singapore Family Offices, or Intellectual Property.
