The Funeral Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s funeral and pre-planning services with compassion, professionalism, and integrity. This role involves guiding clients through sensitive decisions, providing accurate information, and ensuring each family receives personalized and respectful support during their time of need. Key Responsibilities Provide empathetic consultation to clients and families regarding funeral arrangements, products, and services. Explain pre-need (pre-planning) and at-need funeral options clearly and sensitively. Meet or exceed sales targets through relationship-based selling and referrals. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pricing, packages, legal requirements, and service options. Conduct follow-ups with potential clients and families to provide ongoing support. Build and maintain long-term client relationships and community connections. Collaborate with the operations and service teams to ensure smooth delivery of services. Attend community outreach programs, seminars, or events to promote funeral pre-planning awareness. Ensure all documentation, contracts, and records are completed accurately and confidentially. Uphold the organization’s values of dignity, respect, and compassion in all interactions. Requirements Proven experience in sales , customer service , or funeral services (preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy and emotional intelligence. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, patience, and professionalism . Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Fluency in English; additional local languages are an advantage. Preferred Attributes Background in bereavement care , counselling , or hospitality is an advantage. Passion for helping others during difficult times.
