Analyst / Senior Analyst / Lead Analyst (LD Process Transformation)

Overview The Leadership Development & Strategy Cluster oversees the Leadership and Talent Development policies and approaches at the Public Service level, to achieve key outcomes: effective and high-performing leaders and leadership teams; a diverse leadership corps; and a unified public service leadership with a common purpose, identity and values. We ensure our leadership development approaches are fit-for-purpose, including how we identify, develop, and engage senior public service leaders and leadership talents on central leadership programmes, in partnership with our training partner, the Civil Service College, as well as the HR community and leaders across the Public Service. What you will be working on You will be part of a project team seeking to transform LD operations through digitalisation of LD processes and process redesign. This will require an extensive review of major LD processes in partnership with IT colleagues and agencies, with an agile, pragmatic approach to deploy tech solutions and streamline processes. This is part of wider efforts to strengthen the use of data and policy-ops-tech integration to enhance Leadership Development at the Whole-Of-Government level. You will: Redesign and review LD processes to transform LD operations, including identifying tech tools to digitalise and automate existing processes, and developing a digital workflow for Whole-Of-Government (WOG) HR. Work with LD operations teams to understand current processes and co-create more optimal workflows, including simplification of operations and/or policy where feasible. Work on digital solutions and proofs of concepts (POCs) to meet business needs. In the course of the work, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Public Service Leaders, Ministries, and different clusters within PSD. You will also be exposed to a broad understanding of talent management, leadership development and human resource management work such as recruitment, selection, and learning & development. What we are looking for The candidate should possess the following: Ability to engage stakeholders effectively to understand their needs and concerns, involve them in the solutioning process, and seek their buy-in on initiatives. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills to engage internal and external stakeholders of different seniority. Ability to think creatively to redesign processes to improve efficiency and user experience. Familiarity with technology and product development is strongly preferred. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
