Roles & Responsibilities Location: SingaporeDepartment: APAC SalesReports To: Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, APACMarkets Covered: Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and North Asia Position Summary As a key commercial leader within the APAC Sales division, the Luxury Cruises Sales Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth across North Asia for the company’s premium cruise portfolio. This role focuses on expanding market penetration, enhancing brand visibility, and increasing passenger yield for luxury ocean and river cruise products. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the cruise industry, a strong network of travel trade partners, and proven success in luxury brand sales. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales & Market Development Develop and execute APAC sales strategies for FIT, Groups, Charters, and MICE segments, with a focus on high-yield luxury cruise itineraries. Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales initiatives with brand positioning and global commercial goals. Identify and cultivate new revenue streams through preferred travel agency networks, consortia, OTAs, and direct channels. Lead commercial negotiations, contracting, and strategic partnerships to optimize cabin occupancy and onboard revenue. Monitor sales performance using industry-standard KPIs including revenue per passenger (RevPax), yield, and cost per acquisition (CPA). Trade Engagement & Brand Activation Champion the brand through immersive product launches, shipboard events, trade shows, and virtual webinars. Deliver high-touch training programs for travel advisors, focusing on luxury cruise experiences, onboard amenities, and destination immersion. Coordinate ship inspections, familiarization voyages (fam trips), and exclusive trade events to deepen partner engagement. Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor regional sales managers and business development executives, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Implement structured performance management, including KPIs, incentive programs, and professional development plans. Ensure consistent brand representation and sales messaging across all markets. Reporting & Budget Oversight Manage cooperative marketing budgets and ensure ROI through detailed attribution analysis and performance tracking. Provide timely and accurate reporting on sales metrics, market trends, and competitive positioning. Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure alignment with budget forecasts and strategic objectives.
