You will work in the Environmental Health Institute and be a member of the Vector Biology & Control Division.
What you will be working on
You will be part of a dynamic team that gathers deep insights and ensures quality assurance in Project Wolbachia – Singapore. You will be involved in various analytical and entomological activities including, but not limited to, data cleaning and management, statistical analysis, conducting biological assays and experiments, developing and/or evaluating quality assessment of Wolbachia-Aedes strains, and report preparation for situational awareness. You will also be operating in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
What we are looking for
Requirements:
Experience in life science or data analytics background will have an advantage. Candidates of non-relevant backgrounds are welcome to apply.
Proficiency in computer literacy with a good grasp of Microsoft Excel and/or GIS tools.
Inclination to appreciate technical data sets and records management.
Able to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic settings.
Able to systematically perform routine work processes and have an eye for detail.
Self-motivated learners in exploring and adopting new concepts and techniques.
Willing to work after office hours and/or weekends when necessary.
