As a Marine Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting various marine issues to ensure high-quality repairs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic installation of technical solutions following established procedures and tasks on a daily basis.
  • Evaluate complex technical issues and escalate them to senior-level specialists for assistance.
  • Perform routine maintenance, parts replacement, system upgrades, and deployments as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, interacting with customers to explain problems and solutions.
  • Attend meetings and adhere to schedules, notifying relevant parties of required parts and timeframes.

Technical Requirements:

  • Familiarity with honing machine programming and setting knowledge is essential.
  • Ability to train junior workers and mentor them in their roles.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary for working with ship owners and superintendents.
  • Excellent coordination skills are required for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to work overtime, night shifts, and at heights without compromising safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to prepare departmental reports, production, and rejection records.
  • Familiarity with quality and environment management systems is advantageous.

This position requires strong time management skills, independence, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience working in workshops and anchorage vessels is highly desirable.
