Description Position Cluster Project Design Electrical Engineer, Fleet Remediation Engineering at Amazon Web Services (AWS)Location: Singapore Overview AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and their servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure customers have continual access to our cloud services. You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver safety, security, and high capacity at the lowest possible cost. Key Responsibilities Own design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions that add infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and/or increase sustainability. Prepare/review short circuit coordination studies and maintain software models to match as-built site conditions. Perform design and equipment submittal review for data centers in your region. Interface with internal and external design teams, server hardware, environmental health and safety, field engineering, and controls engineering to promote consistent and reliable service standards. Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions. Act as a technical subject matter expert for your discipline during new remediation projects. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience as a resident engineer or hands‐on design consultant. 5+ years industrial or commercial engineering in mission‐critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or oil & gas. Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission‐critical facilities, especially data centers. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer License. Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production. Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.
