System Validation Engineer Position

At our organization, we seek a highly skilled System Validation Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our systems through thorough testing and validation processes.

Job Description

  • Pre-silicon verification and post-silicon system validation are crucial aspects of this position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • As a System Validation Engineer, you will also be responsible for debugging complex hardware, software, and firmware issues, providing expert support to internal and external customers.
  • Silicon characterization and failure analysis are additional key responsibilities, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bootloading and source code development are also essential tasks in this role, necessitating expertise in C/C++ and Python programming languages.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Embedded Systems is required.
  • Minimum three years' experience in hardware, firmware development, and system verification in consumer electronics products is necessary.
  • Familiarity with system board design/debugging and usage of lab equipment like Oscilloscope and Logic analyzer is essential.
  • Experience with silicon verification and test plan execution, as well as knowledge of physical layer components such as ADC, DAC, AGC, DSP, filtering, line driver, differential signals, is required.
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet GPHY, Ethernet Switch/PCI/USB/PCI-E/SPI bus protocol and C/C++ programming language is necessary.
  • Knowledge of system debug tools JTAG, EJTAG, and Spirent Test center scripting is also required.
