Our client is a global petroleum firm and is actively recruiting for a well-connected Bunker Trader to strengthen their presence in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote the company’s products and services to both new and existing clients, fostering strong relationships to drive enquiries and sales.
  • Collaborate and share information openly with fellow traders to ensure smooth exchange of market and customer intelligence, while supporting international colleagues in managing enquiries from other regional offices within the Group.
  • Monitor and interpret market trends, assess client requirements, provide product and pricing details, negotiate agreements, process orders, and manage related administrative tasks and customer inquiries throughout the sales cycle.
  • Proactively manage credit risk by following up on overdue payments, minimizing claim-related costs, and working closely with the Credit Team to assess the financial reliability of counterparties.
  • Grow and strengthen the company’s portfolio by leveraging the Group’s global presence, ensuring all potential sales opportunities are recognized and capitalized upon.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Maritime studies or related discipline.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and proven track record in building clientele base.
  • Sales oriented and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Maritime industry regulations and market dynamics
