They are currently hiring a Cost Accountant for their Singapore business. About the job This role manages the full cost accounting process. It involves monitoring and analyzing project costs to guarantee the accuracy of construction-in-progress capitalization and fixed assets. The individual will collaborate with various departments, including cost control and project management, to track expenditures and analyze budget variances. Additionally, the position supports the implementation and improvement of internal controls, supporting audit and tax reporting processes. Qualifications You should ideally have a degree or equivalent in Finance and/or Accounting with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in project/cost accounting. Office is in the Central area of Singapore, with a 5-day in-office work week. Note: It is a requirement to have dealt with WIP, calculated milestone payments, and CAPEX particularly in the construction industry before.
