Cost Accountant

**Job Summary**

We are looking for Cost Accountant who will be responsible in analyzing and reporting financial data from manufacturing activities to determine the cost of conducting business. This role will support manufacturing, sales and management with valuable financial information to help guide business decisions and reduce product cost. The role will also ensure the completeness, accuracy, timeliness and quality of monthly, quarterly and annual cost reporting and analysis.

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:

- Participates in month-end close activities, including: actual vs forecast analysis for booking, sales, gross profit, headcount and asset management.
- Prepare quarterly forecast for booking, sales, gross profit and asset management.
- Acts as liaison for other world area sites for accounting matters and issues.
- Performs monthly variance analysis on cost of goods sold accounts.
- Completes and analyzes financial testing in the Oracle and other business systems.
- Support annual budgeting process.
- Coordinates with operations on special projects and analysis to support better decision making.
- Maintains internal controls.
- Support annual cost roll up, annual inventory stock take and fixed asset count.
- Quarterly and year end disclosure and reporting.
- Assists finance manager with specific projects, as assigned.

**For This Role, You Will Need**:

- Degree in Finance/Accountancy professional qualification.
- With 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel is a must.
- Proficiency in Oracle R12 and HFM will be advantageous.
