Job Description Evaluate current architecture and technology stack for systems, recommend architectural solutions to align with business goals, technical requirements and government policies. Manage technology refresh and End‐of‐Service (EOS) product replacements, develop and maintain technology roadmaps, oversee implementation and testing phases with contractors. Define technical standards, best practices and guidelines for software development. Conduct product and technology evaluation, make recommendations. Review existing architecture documentation to ensure it is kept up to date, maintain system architecture documentation. Conduct knowledge sharing and training when necessary. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse project and architectural requirements. Monitor system performance and scalability, make recommendations for improvements on a need‐be basis. Architect and solution for new systems, design high‐level system architecture and recommend implementation approaches to align with Authority objectives and EA. Job Qualification At least 3 years of experience as a Software Architect or equivalent position. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent preferred. Relevant certification or recognition as an Architect. Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns. Track record of designing and implementing large‐scale systems. Experience with on‐premises, cloud or hybrid architectures. Advantageous experience with system infrastructure technology refresh, disaster recovery, business continuity, backup & recovery processes and high‐availability architectures; cloud infrastructure and technology. Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT.
