Pipeline Development Manager Position

Job Overview:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Development Manager to oversee the construction of pipelines and ensure compliance with project requirements in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate overall site operations for pipeline development, including planning and tracking progress.
  • Prepare professional pipeline development plans according to the project schedule and implement them in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on Singaporean pipeline development codes and government regulations (PUB, MOM, SCDF).
  • Resolve technical issues during construction by collaborating with designers as needed.
  • Monitor material procurement and resolve issues related to unordered materials.
  • Track the receipt and storage of pipeline materials from China, ensuring they are accessible to the construction team.
  • Inspect pipeline development on-site to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documents, including construction plans, bidding documents, and testing schemes.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and guide the construction team on pipeline insulation procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct construction logic and minimize rework.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in pipeline construction site management, with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with project execution experience in Singapore.
  • Proficiency in pipeline knowledge and ability to take responsibility for work.
  • Nice to have BPE sanitary piping experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and thoughtful decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills.
