Singapore Accountstaff Full time

We are looking for dynamic professionals to join us as Market Advisors for the Southeast Asia and Pacific region. In this role, you will partner with Singaporean companies on their internationalization journey into Southeast Asia, helping them take their first steps overseas, advising on market trends, identifying sectoral opportunities, and supporting their expansion efforts to build a stronger global presence. Working with a team led by the Director, you will design and execute activities to help companies understand trade and investment opportunities, collaborate with in-market partners, and support Singaporean companies in localizing for long-term success. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Southeast Asia markets, conducting research, providing market advisory services, and playing an active role in organizing events and projects to drive business growth. You will also undertake secretariat duties and contribute to the success of organization-wide and departmental initiatives. Job Responsibilities: Conduct research on assigned Southeast Asia markets, identifying key findings and trends that impact the Singapore business community. This includes secondary (e.g., desktop reviews) and primary (e.g., in-market studies) research methods. Prepare country briefs and talking points for internal stakeholders to provide insights into market developments and opportunities. Plan and execute activities aimed at increasing market awareness, including symposiums, business forums, roundtables, webinars, workshops, and business missions. Engage Singaporean companies to understand their international growth plans, connect them with relevant overseas counterparts, and facilitate discussions to help achieve their goals. Identify and cultivate relationships with local and overseas market entry partners to strengthen the organization's ecosystem and enhance its market knowledge and access to networks. Provide market advisory services, facilitate B2 B matching, and follow up on leads to meet key performance indicators (KPIs). Curate and organize activities that highlight sectoral opportunities for Singapore companies in the overseas markets. Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including business council members, trade associations, chambers, and SBF members, and provide secretariat support where necessary. Job Requirements: Preferably at least 3 years of experience in international business development or international marketing, with a focus on Southeast Asia markets. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered. Able to excel in a target-driven environment. Strong understanding of business processes and organizational disciplines. Ability to assess business performance and strategies through the analysis of financial reports and other business metrics. Strong writing skills for preparing country briefs and talking points. Ability to research and understand external factors impacting international businesses, including political, social, and environmental issues. Inquisitive, adaptable, and self-driven, with the ability to multitask and work in dynamic situations. Respectful of cultural, political, and socio-economic differences, with the ability to lead communications and collaborations effectively. Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and achieve goals.
