If you share our vision and possess the qualities we seek, do join usWhat you will be working on: Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess business case and funding for Government projects Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate prudent financial practices into the project funding and implementation process Perform business analytics and financial analysis, present key insights, and make recommendations to support decision-making Implement and maintain robust governance controls to ensure compliance with the Government Financial Policies, regulations and best practices Provide advice on project governance, budgetary and financial matters What we are looking for: Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or equivalent professional qualification A self-starter who can work independently and be a team player as well Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Strong written and spoken communication skills Good interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficient in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel will be an advantage About Ministry of Transport The Mission of Ministry of Transport is to develop Singapore's land, sea and air transport sectors so as to enhance our economic competitiveness and quality of life in a knowledge-based economy. MOT oversees the development and regulation of the following sectors: Civil Aviation and Air Transport Maritime and Ports Land Transport Besides providing an efficient and cost-effective transportation in Singapore, it also strives to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime centre for the region. The ministry sets the strategic and policy direction while operations and regulatory works are carried out by the statutory boards under its charge. There are four statutory boards which are established by Acts of Parliament: the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Public Transport Council (PTC).
