Overview
Pullman Singapore Hill Street, our flagship upscale hotel, represents the renowned Pullman brand and is located in the cultural heart of Singapore. The hotel design blends 19th-century luxury rail travel roots with contemporary touches to inspire and invigorate guests and team members alike.
The role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public areas and guest rooms/suites, and for actively supervising room attendants to ensure a positive guest experience. The incumbent oversees daily housekeeping operations, ensures sufficient supplies, and maintains cleaning standards across all areas.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the hotel to meet luxury brand standards.
Conduct daily operations briefing for all Housekeeping Attendants.
Plan and schedule rooms to be cleaned.
Record and manage Pest Control Reports and General Cleaning Rooms; communicate with Front Office for room blocks when required.
Track guests' preferences, record and follow up guest traces with Supervisors.
Record baby cots and extra bed inventory; manage loan item records.
Understand housekeeping receiving, stock ordering, stock inventory and monitor monthly usage.
Record and track MCs, ALs and PHs; prepare and record monthly expenses.
Report discard, spoilage and fixes to management; liaise with vendors for follow-ups.
Collaborate with all team members for smooth operations.
Check RA reports and tally with system at end of RA shift.
Record housekeeping team OT and incentives; handover and update the team at shift end.
Document conversations and requests in log books/e-log; set up rooms based on special requests when needed.
Investigate guest feedback and DM logs; report outcomes to superiors.
Monitor housekeeping team performance and assist in performance reviews; conduct trainings for the team and welcome kits for new associates.
Ensure rooms conform to brand standards and that House Status turnaround is timely.
Conduct room checks on cleanliness before release to new arrivals; inspect VIP rooms for standards compliance.
Perform random inspections of guest rooms and public areas; inspect housekeeping equipment and daily trolleys/pantries.
Maintain par stock of guest and cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms; conduct periodic inventory checks.
Ensure all team members are trained in the safe use of housekeeping chemicals and lifting techniques.
Analyze and respond to guest feedback to continually improve product and service quality.
Qualifications
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role; preferably from a luxury hotel scale.
Sharp eye for detail and commitment to excellence.
High level of flexibility and adaptability.
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
