Job Title: Enterprise Database Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Database Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database systems to meet business needs.
  • Analyze client operations, applications, and programming to determine structural requirements.
  • Develop database solutions by designing proposed systems, defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
  • Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems.
  • Provide database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in distributed MySQL database system.
  • Proficiency in writing debugging procedures, functions, and SQL statements.
  • Understanding in mainstream storage/cache products such as Redis, Hbase, MongoDB, and experience in software application, operation, and maintenance.
  • Linux operating systems and scripting languages such as Bash Shell and Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, good technical sense, and ability in document integration.
